Round 3
In Partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Co. , the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region announced the winner of its 4th Competition in a big Awards Ceremony held in Tunisia with over 200 attendees. The Ceremony took place in the presence of Hala Fadel, Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region, Zaher Munajjed, Advisor to the President Abdul LatifJameel Co., Ziad Oueslati, Board Member at the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region, Mohamed Taher Chikhaoui, President of the MIT Club of Germany, Neveen Al Tahri, Co-Chairperson & Managing Director of Delta Financial Investments, Adnan Sultan, Managing Director for the Middle East, Kuwait City of Agave Partners Holdings, Wael Fakharany, Regional Manager of Google Middle East and Mohamed Mehdi Khemiri, Founder and CEO of Innovest, Tunisian Minister of Employment, HE Said Aidi and Mr. Slim Chaker, Secretary of State to the Minister of Trade and Tourism in charge of Tourism.
PT Screen came in first receiving $50,000 in prize money. AlKhawarizmy Language Software from Egypt received $10,000 for the second place. iNavigator from Egypt and Diabetes Healthcare had a tie in the third place receiving $5,000 each. Congratulations to the winning teams!

Congratulations to the top 12 finalist teams that qualified for the final round of the 4th MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Business Plan Competition (2010-2011).The 12 teams will fly to Tunisia and attend a coaching session with Booz & Co. guiding them through how to better perform in oral presentations and pitch their ideas in front of investors. The final award ceremony will be taking place in Tunisia on Friday, June 17. The 3 winning teams will receive up to $65,000 in prize money to help them take their business to the next level. Congratulations to the top 30 semi-finalist teams that qualified for Round 2 of the 4th MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Business Plan Competition (2010-2011).The 30 teams will attend a two-day workshop on March 25th and 26th to guide them through the process of writing winning business plans and pitching their ideas in front of investors. The workshop is lead by Ken Morse, former Managing Director of MIT Entrepreneurship Center and Founder of 3Com along with consultants from Booz & Co.
